Golf Spotlight 2011; Taylor Made Forged Irons.mp4

Taylor Made has achieved great market success in the past few years with their cast irons, but for 2011, they have 3 new forged models, designed to meet the needs of most golfers. I am joined by Brian Bazzell, Taylor Made’s Product Creation Manager for irons and wedges to see how Taylor Made has changed the forged process to bring these new irons to the public. For more information on their entire line, check them out at www.taylormadegolf.com.

Golf Club Review | TaylorMade Rescue 09

The lastest Dawn Raid happend at Dromoland Castle in Ireland a few weeks ago. Donal and the Raider put a massive range of clubs through their paces. This time it’s the turn of the TaylorMade Rescue 09. Did it measure up to the other on test? Watch to find out.

Need an extra club in my bag?

I have only 13 clubs in my bag, I shoot from 85-90. Here are my clubs:
Taylormade r7 10.5* driver
Cleveland Hi-bore 15* 3 wood
Nike SQ 21* hybrid
titleist 704.cb 4-pw
an old maxifli 56* sandwedge (high bounce)
acuity 60* lob wedge (low bounce)

should I get a gap wedge, i hit my sand wedge about 100 yards and my driver about 250. Should I just not buy a club and spend the money on a lot of golf balls, or do you think that a new club would help?
i hit my 3 wood about 215 and my hybrid goes about 195-200 depending on the roll, i think that if i got a 5 wood, there would be some serious overlap, i mean, i find myself like 205 out, and i usually try to take off some of my three wood, and it usually works out, if there is a height difference in a three to five wood, that might make a difference because the golf course that i play at is like a jungle, i am almost always trying to hit over trees, so if a five wood could be a 200 yard club that i could get going really high, i might look into that, anyone know if a five wood goes moderately higher than a 3 wood (I have a pretty high ball flight already, makes playing in the wind a BIG problem)
my handicap is 10.2 according to the usga and i have to really step on a 56 to get it to go 100 yards, or take a lot of of my pw, would a gap wedge fill that, and i think my 56* might actually be a 54*. I had a really old set of maxfli irons that is sold (3-sw) but i kept that sandwedge so i’m not sure if it’s a 54* or 56*

G10 hybrid or Taylormade rescue?

Golf Club for Dad?

My dad’s birthday is coming up and I was wanting to get him a decent golf club. His set is my old Hand-Me-Downs. He doesn’t play often, but when he does it is with me. I was wondering what would be a putter or driver to get him. We got him a new wedge and hybrid for Christmas. I was thinking of getting him a HiBore (Old Version) or a new Taylormade Blade putter. I would prefer the price be under 0. He normally shoots around 55 for nine holes.

Taylor Made Ghost Putter at Miami Golf

www.miamigolf.com Taylor Made Rossa Corza Ghost Putter 2010 SPECIFICATIONS: Taylor Made goal with the Rossa Corza Ghost Putters was very simple: Design a putter that is easier to aim than any other. That is where the white head comes in. Ghost’s golf ball white color, complements the white color of the golf ball, and also stands out easily and beautifully against green grass so you do not have to strain your eyes to see the topline. This takes the strain off your eyes and promotes a calm and confident state of mind, according to an expert in the field of color-perception, who Taylor Made consulted during the developement of Ghost. The three black lines on the crown help further alignment support. The two outer lines are spaced as far apart as the width of a ball. Position the ball between those lines when you address your putt and you will be amazed at how easy it is to tell where the face is aiming. This elevated crown merges seamlessly with the top of the putter club face, making the topline extremely easy to see. This circular hole at the rear of the putter head works in union with the three black lines on the crown and the ball to create a vivid secondary alignment aid that gives you complete assurance that your aim is true. Rossas renowned AGSI + (Anti-skid Groove System Insert) creates forward spin for a smooth roll, while its Titallium construction delivers soft and satisfying feel at impact. www.miamigolf.com

Putter Help?

I recently just bought a new putter. I bought a Odyssey 2-Ball XG SRT. I thought I wanted it, and ditched my old putter (Odyssey XG #7) to buy it. I bought it for 190 at golf galaxy. However, I have been hitting other putters and found another one that I hit better and like the look and feel of much better. I think that I may buy it and then just give my dad my old one. It is 0. However I also want new irons, a fairway wood (I don’t have one), another wedge (there is a gap in between clubs), and I wouldn’t mind replacing my hybrid and driver. I think I may get the putter and try and get irons, then fairway wood, wedge, hybrid, and then driver.

The putter I want to get is the Taylormade Rossa Classic Imola 8. I have hit it and I really like it. I hit it well, like the feel, love the grip and I hit it side by side with my current putter and hit it much better.

Any suggestions?
