Golfsmith & TaylorMade “White Out” Manhattan with Martin Kaymer & Sergio Garcia

A “White Out” of a different kind hit Manhattan today as local golfers and some of the world’s best in the game hit golf balls down the middle of 54th street with a new white colored driver. The number two player in the world, Martin Kaymer, and global golf star Sergio Garcia joined hundreds of New Yorkers in “White Out” conditions to be among the first to hit the new TaylorMade R11 and Burner white-colored drivers and woods. Each took target practice inside a large 45-foot tall by 120-foot long custom-made driving range outside of the Golfsmith store on 54th and Lexington. For every target successfully hit by a golfer, each company made sizeable donations to a local wounded veterans program using golf in rehabilitation efforts.

type of irons clubs should i buy?

im a beginner golf player, i want to purchase my first set of golf clubs in order to practice more and improve my game. I have been thinking about the taylormade r9 or the callaway x-22, however i dont know which type to buy. Im a 22 year old male. My guess is that i should buy steel and not graphite and it should be stiff, not regular or flex. Please tell me if im right or not. i have put the links, please tell me which options i should choose. Also, i measure 1.87 cm, would that lenght of golf clubs would be right or i should need a extra-bigger lenght?

With the advances in golf club technology, why hasnt more manufacturers come out with complete hybrid iron set?

Why is it that I can only find "clone" or aftermarket complete hybrid iron sets. With the much hyped game improvement capabilities that hybrid irons have to offer I was wondering why I HAVE NOT seen any of the top name brand manufacturers offer any of the complete hybrid sets?? I have seen a couple no name sets online at custom club companies like "pine meadow golf .com" and "golf clubs fore less.com". I love these hybrids and would like to get a quality name brand set but cannot find any with the exception of the Cleveland HI-BORE. and Adams only offers a partial hybrid set . Do I need to stick to my Ping G5′s They are nice forgiving traditional irons but probably not as forgiving as a hybrid set. Should I learn to play better with the traditonal irons or will everyone soon be playing with complete hybrid sets ???? Why dosnt TaylorMade or Callaway or Nike or Cobra .. offer complete hybrid iron sets ??????
